Chris Hamblen
Chris grew up in the Upstate of South Carolina, where he developed a deep appreciation for both the area's economic growth and for the natural beauty of Paris Mountain, often exploring its trails on 4-wheelers with friends. Though passionate about Chemistry and Physics in high school, Chris had a hard time finding a clear direction for his career in science. Eventually, he took his brother's advice and decided to pursue a degree in Construction Science and Management at Clemson University, all while considering a future in the family homebuilding business—though he wasn’t feeling any pressure to follow that path.
After earning several academic honors, including multiple semesters on the Dean’s and President’s lists, Chris had offers from well-known regional and national commercial construction firms. But his entrepreneurial drive led him to take the leap and work for himself and his family. Today, Chris enjoys a rewarding career in small business, embracing both the challenges and the rewards it brings ,now successfully transitioning the business to its second generation. On the personal side, Chris married Jordan, a graduate of North Greenville University, and together they have two independent, hilarious children, Emmett and Ava, who keep things interesting.

Carolyn Richards
Since joining Fairview in 2023 as Director of Sales, Carolyn has drawn on over three decades of experience across design, construction, and client engagement. Her passion for home building, beautiful architecture, and cultivating strong client relationships has shaped her career from the start. She started her career in sales then leaned into her Interior Design degree at Mount Mary University in WI and finally a Project Mgmt Certificate from the Univ of Texas at Austin.
She has overseen comprehensive design projects for boutique hospitality and residential remodeling firms, driven business development and strategic growth within the construction industry, and led inside sales for a luxury materials distributor, focusing on personalized service and stronger relationships with trade partners. In her off time, Carolyn enjoys traveling the SE, cooking, photography, improving her home, and trying to grow a southern lawn!
