Will Potential Tariffs Impact Construction Costs?
We're encouraged to share that, thanks to NAHB lobbying, tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports will not be imposed—easing worries over rising prices for lumber, gypsum, and concrete. Even if tariffs had gone into effect, our vendor partners’ diverse sourcing and 5–6 months of inventory would have helped mitigate the impact.
Table Rock State Park Fire Under Control
After burning more than 13,000 acres, the Table Rock State Park fire was finally brought under control last week. We're incredibly grateful to the thousands of men and women who helped contain it. The recent rain was a much-needed and welcome relief.
Sentiments remain positive in the community and the need for high quality homes in peaceful settings has not waned….
